It's really hard to get accepted to the best prep schools, but downloading these boarding school rankings will help you gain an advantage.

I think you'd agree with me that getting accepted to top boarding schools is getting tougher each year.  Right

With admissions rates in the sub-10% range for some of the best boarding schools, you need to have every advantage necessary to win.

Because we know it's very challenging to get accepted to the private schools, our admissions formula - and test prep for the SSAT - can help you gain admission to elite schools like Phillips Exeter, Andover, Lawrenceville, Groton, Choate, St. Paul's, Middlesex, Milton, and more than 500+ data points on the top schools to which you should apply.

More than 10,000 downloads of our best boarding school list in the past 5 years.   That's more than 2,000 smart parents each year who download our official top boarding school list!

In fact, when it comes to selecting the right boarding school and prep school for your son or daughter, you need to consider many factors... all of which will make a huge difference in their lifetime.

In these rankings, we focus on the nation’s elite schools.  Most of them are located in America (The United States), but we also include several international boarding schools to consider as well.

Maybe you're not looking to apply to the most difficult/lowest acceptance rate schools... does that mean you shouldn't buy this exclusive rankings list?

Nothing could be further from the truth.

These boarding school rankings are for every student – and their parents – who are considering applying to boarding or private school. Even if you don’t want to follow the Bush family to Andover or Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to Exeter, you should buy the list today.

I consider our advice like training for a four-minute mile. By following our recipes for success, you will be ready to apply to any school from coast-to-coast. Even if you are not the next Roger Bannister, who in 1954 was the first person to run a four-minute mile, preparing at this level will only strengthen your chance of meeting any other goals. The good news, however: If you go through the process as if you are applying to the nation’s elite schools, you will increase your chances of getting into every other school.

So what factors go into Top Test Prep’s official rankings?

Here are some of the important factors we consider while ranking top international and American boarding schools:

1. Consistently sending students to the Ivy League, MIT and Stanford. Face it: these private and boarding schools are pricy. What is the biggest thing they provide that your neighborhood public school or run-of-the-mill private school does not? Getting students into the nation’s top colleges on a regular basis.

2. Standardized SAT test scores. We looked at the average SSAT score or ISEE exam score of the incoming class at each school, as well as the average SAT score of their graduating class.

3. Alumni endowment. Is the school well-funded? This might not seem important, but keep in mind that a school with more money in the bank has many advantages. It can pay more money for teachers and coaches, potentially attracting the best candidates for its faculty and staff. It has top-notch facilities that are beautifully maintained. And it does not feel pressure to admit more students simply to bring in more tuition revenue at the expense of lowering the overall experience.

4. Teacher-to-student ratio. We all want smaller class sizes and more individualized instruction. So why isn’t this higher on the list? Because most schools have similar average class sizes and the small differences here are not as significant.

5. Campus Environment.  We want you son or daughter to be happy when they're attending these boarding schools.

6. Peer review. We worked with more than 50+ admissions officers around the world to give us their perspective on each of these top boarding schools... and you'll get inside access to see what they said about each school.

7. Selectivity and Acceptance Rates.  We believe that the more selective a boarding school is during its admissions process, the more likely you'll have better students - and interactions - from the students who matriculate.

Why you need to buy this list of the best boarding schools... (Don't miss out.)

So you're about to spend close to $250,000 on your boarding school and private school tuition?  Well, what if I told you that the $349 dollars you're about to spend by purchasing the best rankings is the best money you'll ever spend.  That's right... think about it like this:

Think about it: If you are going to spend up to $45,000 a year -- potentially a quarter of a million dollars or more before college! -- There must be a value added. Unless you are Warren Buffett, that is a lot of money. The value here, for most students and their families, is matriculating to a top college or university and positioning the student to succeed in life.

That is a big measure of why parents will invest so much money on private prep schools.

Though I'm a firm believer that 80 percent of your success can be attributed to your environment and those with whom you are surrounded. Only 20 percent is genetic. So, if excellence surrounds every corner of the campus, it impacts a school’s students. If you visit a school like Phillips Andover or Phillips Exeter Academy (two highly ranked schools on our list), you quickly notice the atmosphere of high expectations and self-motivation. There are students who excel in sports, but they don’t mind being the smartest person in the class either. In public schools and even some private schools, you do not feel comfortable being both. At Andover and other schools on our Top lists, being smart in class and a star athlete is welcomed, if not encouraged. This is important for student-athletes like Julie to remember. By surrounding yourself with motivated, driven peers, you will be pushed to perform at a high level.

So don't miss out on the opportunity to gain valuable insight on the application process, the Gateway to Prep Schools, and data on how these rankings can help you get admitted to top boarding schools...

Bonus tips to Prepare for your SSAT Exam .... Just Because... We want you to win.

3 Best Tips How to Prepare for Your SSAT Exam:

SSAT Prep and Boarding School Admissions.

SSAT Prep and Boarding School Admissions.

#1) When taking these practice SSAT tests, students should simulate exact test conditions. If you are taking the SSAT at 9 a.m. on a Saturday morning, then you should take all of your practice tests at 9 a.m. on Saturday mornings. Don’t take the practice test at the kitchen table or on a family room sofa, find a desk – just as it will be when you take the test in a classroom. Both the SSAT and ISEE provide the exact timeline for taking their tests, including breaks – you should follow this schedule when taking practice tests. Just like running a race, it helps to know the course.

#2) Prepare as if you will take the SSAT exam only once. If you enter the test planning to take it again, you will not be in the right mindset to perform your best. Also, if you take the test and are not sure whether you can score better, do not take it again. My rule of thumb is to take the test no more than twice. The more you take it, the worse it looks.

#3) Your SSAT Score needs to be around a top 15% percentile to be considered to the best boarding schools.
